E-Bike Warranty Policy

Navee provides after-sales service to customers in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the sales region. This policy applies to Navee eBike products.

  1. Scope of Application

Navee provides warranty services for products sold through official or officially authorized channels. Products purchased through unauthorized channels are not covered by this policy.

  1. Warranty Service

2.1. If a product exhibits non-human-induced quality issues within a certain period from the date of purchase, after confirmation by Navee personnel or authorized personnel, Navee will provide warranty service. The warranty period for the product provided that all mandatory warranty conditions are met, is as follows: 1 (one) year from the date of purchase, whichever comes first, for the product itself; 6 (six) months for the Battery & Charger. The warranty does cover standard wear and tear of components such as tires, hoses, and cables, nor does it cover damages, falls, or losses resulting from improper assembly, maintenance, storage, or operation of the electric scooter.

  1. Mandatory Warranty Conditions

A prerequisite for warranty coverage is regular maintenance performed at the Navee service center or authorized dealers. The equipment must be operated within an ambient temperature range of -10°C to +40°C and a relative humidity not exceeding 50%. The warranty is void if there are signs of moisture infiltration into the motor wheel, battery, controller, or main board; external mechanical damage; unauthorized repairs or modifications carried out by individuals not approved by the manufacturer; unauthorized disassembly or repairs not outlined in the product documentation; non-compliance with operational guidelines, transportation rules, or storage conditions; or use of the product for unintended purposes.

  1. Storage and Usage Guidelines

The following rules must be observed for proper storage and operation of the equipment:

  • Prohibited Actions:
    • Do not store the equipment outdoors.
    • Avoid using the device in rainy conditions or cleaning it with high-pressure water jets.
    • Prevent moisture or dirt from coming into contact with the display, deck, or motor wheel.
    • Do not operate the device during winter, overload it, jump off curbs or slopes, or climb steep inclines.
  • Maintenance:
    • Check and tighten components as they loosen, and adjust locking mechanisms as needed.
  • Storage Requirements:
    • Store the equipment in a heated indoor environment with a temperature above +18°C.
    • Charge the battery once per month to maintain its condition.

 

  1. Warranty Coverage

The warranty period for the machine and parts is as follows:

However, damage to the wheel hub caused by insufficient tire pressure over speed bumps, potholes, or similar reasons is not covered by the warranty.
Front Fork Replacements are available for product issues resulting from irreparable performance failures, such as desoldering, fractures, or distortions. However, damage caused by impacts, unauthorized modifications, or other human-induced factors is not covered under the warranty.
Controller Replacements are available for product issues resulting from irreparable performance failures, such as Circuit damage and component damage, However, damage caused by impacts, unauthorized modifications, or other human-induced factors is not covered under the warranty.
Main Parts 6 Months Battery Replacements are available for product issues resulting from performance failures, such as excessive capacity drop, no voltage release, battery safety hazards, leakage or the capacity is less than 80% due to product quality issues. However, damage caused by impacts, unauthorized modifications, or other human-induced factors is not covered under the warranty. Damage resulting from improper storage, failure to charge in a timely manner, use of non-standard chargers, water ingress, impacts, or drops will not be covered by the warranty.
Charger Replacements are available for product issues resulting from irreparable performance failures, such as Circuit damage and component damage, However, damage caused by impacts, unauthorized modifications, or other human-induced factors is not covered under the warranty.
Dashboard Performance failures caused by product-related issues that cannot be repaired are eligible for replacement. However, damage resulting from unauthorized modifications or other human-induced factors is not covered by the warranty.
Sensor The warranty covers the replacement or repair of the electric bike sensor in cases of manufacturing defects or performance failures, such as unresponsive sensors, faulty wiring, or signal transmission issues, provided they occur under normal usage conditions. Damage resulting from accidents, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, water intrusion, or other external factors is not covered under the warranty.
Handlebar The warranty for the handlebar covers manufacturing defects and material failures, such as cracks, bends, or structural weaknesses that occur under normal usage conditions. However, damage caused by accidents, overloading, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or other external factors is not covered under the warranty.
Stem The warranty for the stem covers manufacturing defects and material failures, such as cracks, fractures, or structural issues that arise under normal usage conditions. Damage caused by improper installation, accidents, overloading, unauthorized modifications, or other external factors is not covered under the warranty.
Crankset Covered for manufacturing defects, such as cracks, misaligned components, or structural failures under normal usage conditions. Damage from improper installation, impacts, or overuse is not covered.
Bottom Bracket Covers issues like excessive noise, bearing failure, or structural defects due to manufacturing faults. Damage from improper installation, lack of maintenance, or misuse is not covered under the warranty.
Chain Covered for defects such as uneven links or manufacturing irregularities under normal riding conditions. Stretching, wear, or rust due to improper maintenance or usage is not covered under the warranty.
Front Hub Covers manufacturing defects, such as bearing failure or structural cracks. Damaged caused by improper installation, overloading, or impacts is not covered under the warranty.
Rim Warranty includes structural defects or material failure under standard use. Damage from impacts, improper tire installation, or external abuse is not covered under the warranty.
Seat Tube Covered for defects like bending or material failure under normal conditions. Damaged by improper adjustment, over-tightening, or accidents is not covered under the warranty.
Seat Clamp Warranty covers defects in material or manufacturing, such as inability to hold the seat post securely. Damage due to overtightening or misuse is not covered under warranty.
Gear Shifter Covers internal mechanical failures or defects in normal operation. Damaged from crashes, improper adjustment, or unauthorized modifications is not covered under warranty.
Rear Derailleur Covers defects like improper engagement or manufacturing flaws under normal use. Wear and tear or damage from improper installation is not covered under warranty.
Freewheel or Cassette Covers defects like improper engagement or manufacturing flaws under normal use. Wear and tear or damage from improper installation is not covered under warranty.
Fender Covers cracks, deformities, or detachment caused by manufacturing issues. Damage from external impacts or improper use is not covered under warranty.
Support Rod warranty covers defects in materials or craftsmanship, including, Structural defects such as bending, cracking, or breakage that occur under normal use due to manufacturing flaws. Damage resulting from accidents, impacts, external forces, Wear and tear due to regular usage, such as scratches, discoloration, Damage caused by improper installation, overloading, or unauthorized modifications is not covered under warranty.
Rear Hanger Covers bending or breakage caused by material or manufacturing defects under normal use. Damage from crashes or external forces is not covered under warranty.

Inner Tube Warranty includes defects like faulty valve stems or weak spots due to manufacturing errors.
Rim Strip Covered for defects in material or size that cause improper protection of the inner tube.
Brake Cables Manufacturing defects such as fraying, improper length, or faulty coating are covered.
Front & Rear Lights Warranty covers defects in wiring, bulbs, or casings that affect functionality under normal use.
Bell Covers issues like malfunctioning ringing mechanisms or material defects.
Gear Cable Manufacturing defects such as fraying or improper operation are covered.
Light Bracket Covered for material defects or failure to secure the light properly due to manufacturing flaws.
Reflectors Defects in material, attachment mechanisms, or reflective coating are covered.
Wire Grommet Warranty includes defects in material, size, or flexibility affecting proper cable routing.
Fender Clip Covered for material failures or improper fit due to manufacturing issues.
Spoke Manufacturing defects such as weak spots, incorrect threading, or material flaws are covered.
Screws Warranty covers screws with material defects, such as improper threading or breakage under normal use.

 

  • Battery (Accumulator):
  • If the unit is stored or used in temperatures below -10°C or above +40°C.
  • If stored in a discharged state or subjected to repeated deep discharges.
  • If there is any external mechanical damage, or ingress of moisture, dirt, or dust.
  • If used for rental, commercial purposes, or subjected to rough handling.
    • Parts and Assemblies:
  • If signs of external mechanical damage are present, or if the product has undergone self-diagnosis, self-repair, or disassembly.
  • If moisture is detected in the motor wheel, controller, display, deck, control panels (buttons), headlights, lanterns, or turn signals.
    • Parts and Units:
  • If the equipment has not been properly adjusted (e.g., fixing mechanisms were not tightened or adjusted correctly).
  • If there is a lack of protection against moisture, dirt, or dust (i.e., absence of waterproofing).
    • Damage from Improper Use:
  • If the equipment is operated in violation of the provided instructions or overloaded.
    • Accidental Damage:
  • If the equipment is damaged in a road traffic accident.
    • Damage from External Agents:
  • If the equipment suffers damage from chemicals, weather conditions, or other external factors affecting the paint or surfaces.

 

  • Force Majeure:
  • If the equipment is damaged due to unforeseen events such as snow, hail, hurricanes, fires, floods, or other natural disasters.
    • Third-Party Damage:
  • If the damage is caused by third parties, including family, friends, other individuals or organizations, or transport companies.
    • Plastic Parts:
  • Warranty does not cover damage to plastic components.

 

The warranty period starts from the day after the date indicated on the invoice. For online orders, the warranty period starts from the day after the product is signed for. If the customer cannot provide a valid proof of purchase, the warranty period is calculated as 3 months from the product’s production date.

  1. Warranty Process

  1. Non-Warranty Coverage

The warranty service will be terminated in the following cases:

  1. The damaged part is beyond the warranty period.
  2. The customer cannot provide the warranty card or invoice, or the information on the warranty card does not match the invoice.
  3. The product is damaged due to human factors.
  4. The product is damaged due to force majeure.
  5. The user did not use, maintain, or adjust the product according to the user manual, leading to damage.
  6. The product is forced to be used beyond normal conditions, causing failure or damage.
  7. Disassembly or repair by non-Navee authorized professionals.
  8. Intentional damage to the warranty card content and product information, including scratching, tearing, or alteration.
  9. Other product failures and damages not caused by product design, manufacturing, or quality issues.
  10. The customer uses the product for commercial purposes.

In these cases, the user will need to pay the corresponding repair costs.

  1. Out-of-Warranty After-Sales Service Policy

For products that do not meet the warranty terms but are eligible for repair, Navee offers paid repair services. The repair costs include shipping fees, parts fees, and labor fees. For more details, please contact your local dealer. If the same part experiences the same issue within 3 months after the repair, Navee will provide free repair services.

  1. Liability Disclaimer and Limitations

Navee does not assume, nor has it authorized anyone to assume on its behalf, any other obligations or liabilities related to the product, its components, accessories, service repairs, or this limited warranty. Navee is not responsible for any loss of use of the product, its components, or accessories, or for any inconvenience or other losses or damages arising from any defect in the product, its components, accessories, or service repairs. Furthermore, Navee is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages that the purchaser may incur.

This limited warranty is the only warranty applicable to the product and its components, accessories, and service repairs. Navee and its affiliates disclaim all other express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except for warranties implied by applicable law that cannot be excluded, limited, or modified. To the extent permitted by law, any such implied warranties are limited to the duration of this limited warranty, or to the duration prescribed by applicable national/state law, whichever is shorter. Some countries/states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you. Additionally, some countries/states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to certain purchasers.

Navee’s total and aggregate liability for any and all claims arising under this agreement, as well as any and all applicable warranties at law, is limited to the repair or replacement of any defective product at Navee’s sole discretion. All incidental and consequential damages are excluded, except where such limitations and exclusions are prohibited by applicable law. Some countries/states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
